You have two options for easily identifying members of a list that have opted out of receiving future email distributions. You can either use the Influencer Search tab to search for Contacts that have Opted Out or you can use the My List tab to view Opt Out information.
Note: When media contacts Opt Out of future distributions, the Opt Out is limited to the data group. If the Contact is part of a list in another data group, they will still be able to receive distributions from those other data groups.
Searching for all Opt-Outs
You can search for any Media Contacts that have opted themselves out of receiving your emails or been manually opted out. In order to locate any Media Contact that has unsubscribed use the following steps.
Accessing the Media Contact Search:
Click on the Influencers tab.
Click on the Search option.
Use the drop-down menu on the left to select the Opted-Out Contacts option.
Choose the option “Only contacts opted-out from emails”.
Click Search. The result set will show you everyone in your data group that has chosen to opt out of receiving your emails.
Checking Opt-Out Status on Contact Profiles
Select the list of contacts you would like to review, then click on a contact.
If the contact has opted out of future email distributions, you will see an Opt-Out indicator in the profile.
If you do not see the Opted- Out indicator and it should be present for that contact, you can manually Opt-Out a Contact.
In addition, when viewing the Record for Media Contact who Opted Out of your distribution, you will see the Opt-Out indicator in the lower left- hand panel of their full profile.
