Adding Recommended Contacts to a List
The Cision Communications Cloud will actively recommend Media Contacts that may be good candidates for your list! These recommended contacts have had a profile change in the past 30 days in such that they now meet the criteria you used to create the Media Contact List initially. The following steps can be used to find Recommended Additions for any Media Contact List.
Including Recommended Additions to your Media Contact list will help ensure that you are constantly keeping your Media Contact list up to date. The Recommended Additions feature actively recommends Media Contacts that may be good candidates for your list!
Navigation to My Lists
Click on the Influencers tab.
Click on the My Lists option.
Adding Recommended Additions to a Contact List
Click on the Contact tab in the My Lists panel.
Click on the Contact List for which you would like to see Recommended Additions.
Click on the Recommended Additions button.
Place a checkmark any Contacts in this section that are good candidates for your list.
Click Add to List to add the checked Contacts to your list.
Removing a Single Contact or Outlet from a List
You can remove a Single Contact or Outlet from a list using their profile panel or from the list itself.
Navigation to My Lists
Click on the Influencers tab.
Click on the My Lists option.
Removing a Contact or Outlet from a Specific List
Select the list of contacts or outlets you would like to review, then click on a contact you would like to remove from the list.
Click on the Edit Lists button in the contact's our outlet's mini-profile.
Uncheck the box(es) for any lists you would like to remove the contact from.
You will see the Edit Lists button update after removal or addition from a list.
Alternately, you can also remove a contact or outlet from the full profile, by clicking on the Edit Lists button under their profile information.
Removing Multiple Contacts or Outlets from a List
You can remove multiple Media Contacts or Outlets from a list using the following steps.
Navigation to My Lists
Click on the Influencers tab.
Click on the My Lists option.
Removing Contacts or Outlets from a Media List
You can Remove/Delete Contacts or Outlets from a list easily at any time.
In the My Lists panel, click Contact or Outlet based on the type of list for which you are looking.
Click on the name of the Contact or Outlet List from which you would like to remove Media Contacts or Outlets.
Place a check mark by the names of the Media Contacts or Outlets that you would like to remove.
Click the Remove button.
Note: The selected Media Contacts or Outlets will be removed which is momentarily indicated by a line drawn through the affected names. The My List screen will then refresh showing the updated list without the removed contacts.
Renaming or Deleting a List
You can rename and/or delete a list in the My Lists section of the page.
Navigation to My Lists
Click on the Influencers tab.
Click on the My Lists option.
Renaming a List
Click on the Pencil icon next to the media list you would like to rename.
When the Manage My List menu appears, use the Name text box to type in the new name for the list.
Click Ok.
Deleting a List:
Click on the Trash Can icon next to the media list you wish to remove.
Click the Delete button to fully delete the media list.
